❤
What a unique and special time in Elvis' life. He had finished his movie obligations. He had married in 1967 and nine months to the day Lisa Marie was born beautiful and healthy. Elvis returned in the (successful) 1968 Singer TV Special entitled "Elvis". and the fans, and critics, alike applauded Elvis' 4 1/2 octave range and ending the show with the infamous "If I Can Dream". Elvis was in great shape. He looked exceptional. The year before he signed the largest monetary agreement to appear in Las Vegas where he, and his band/orchestra/etc. could refine their skills. In essence, Elvis was...happy. He had waited 10 years, due to the movie contracts, and now could sing songs that meant something. Songs he liked. Songs that were diverse. From country to rock to gospel no genre could contain him. Everything was now possible in Elvis' life personally and professionally. Thats The Way It Is was a great endeavor. You can hear Elvis' soul, and range, on every song. If you watch the video you see a man in motion singing his heart out. Thank you for your post. Take care and may God bless you and yours always. This was very sad to watch.. he lived Elvis so much.. who didn’t.. I was and am so in love with this god who just happened to have the name Elvis Presley.. what an icon.. he was the most decent human being.. I will forever be in love with Elvis.. ❤😢❤
Phenomenal commercial! Now where do I find the product? 🥰
❤❤❤Adorável Elvis em qualquer tempo
This scene is damn perfect. The suspense and tension here is so good, and the usage of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe isn’t just “hey look references guys!” It’s a good way of showing how even though Elvis and Marilyn Monroe are from the past, they still continue to be popular in this dystopian future. Denis Villenueve really knows how to direct a scene.
Knew she was in v Las Vegas but she was also dancer in roustabout in front of the show tent dancing to “ Hurry , hurry, step this way, this way to carny town “.
West germany and sovietunion ❤
Paul you sang that great.
One of the best films ever made about Elvis
Pure example of appreciation. Thank you Paul for sharing.
This is not Paul McCartney. This is Billy Shepperd the impostor.
With all due respect to Elvis Presley , comparing him to Sir Paul McCartney is like comparing a lamb to a hungry Siberian tiger.
This is off "Chaos and creation at Abbey Road" - innit?
Multi talented Paul who could play bass, guitar, drums, and piano. Plus that!
He’s Billy Shear/Shepard, not JPM.
One of the greatest sounds in the world is hearing Elvis laugh. If I’m having a stressful, bad day I come to UA-cam, find a video of Elvis laughing and my day brightens immediately. I love this man, have since I was a child, and will until the day I die. ❤
Honoring The King. Love it.
It's really cool.
I LOVE this video!!!!🥰🙃🥰❣💞👏
Dare I say, sounds like a better impression of Elvis than Elvis can himself do!
best friend? is a joke. Joe was a back stabber and two faced, The story about Joe being fired in 1964 is true. Joe talked about it during an interview on Elvis Sirius satellite radio a few years back. It had to do with Joe telling the Colonel where they were staying and then the Colonel supposedly leaked it to the press for publicity. Elvis got mad because he felt Joe shouldn't be telling the Colonel everything he did. Joe defended it by saying it was his job to tell the Colonel which Elvis never liked. It's very possible that Elvis was going to fire Joe in 1977 because most of the original guys were gone or not around much. It seemed by then that Elvis and his Memphis mafia were moving on from one another.
I think Charlie, Jerry Schilling and JD would be considered Elvis' "BEST FRIENDS"
Elvis definitely had a influence on people even Paul mccartney 😊
Sir Paul is a student as well as master in music.
Nice!
この曲が好きだに ゾクッとした😊
Boring.
BEATLES are ROCK MONSTERS!!!✌️
Really nice to ELVIS enjoying himself during TTWII his smile happiness all god's perfect musician ♥️ your fan Lyndon from Goa India ♥️
Paul playing upright bass is the internet I signed up for.
A piece of music history bill heartbeat hotel ♥️
We can't go on together....
How would you ever be forgotten sweet Elvis what you left in our ❤ nobody can take away. Love you forever Elvis.❤😘😍🤗☺😚❣💞
This is even more amazing knowing that Austin Butler, who played Elvis in the recent biopic, also played Feyd in Villeneuve's next SF masterpiece, Dune.
Schade, so kurz.....mehr davon, bitte.
Elvis-#1
Pity they had to show off with the fancy wide shots instead of just a head to strings shot, which would have said it all. You don't need bells and whistles, when you've got Paul and a bass.
Por favor, liberem legendas para tradução, pleaseeee
Utterly amazing.
he loves being in the spotlight.
Göttliches geschenk vom Schöpfer ⚜️🍀💐💫💫⚜️🍀🍀💫💫
Amazing!!
Oh nuk e dija qe kish nderruar jete Joe I perjetshem qofte Emri dhe kujtimi i Tije vellaj dhe miku me i mire i Elvisit
Major Cool! 👍
Paul sounds great and he has this "child-like" sense of wonder about life. You can see such enthusiasm as he tells this story!
No doubt he owns it now. Great.
He forgot to mention he also relayed everything back to the parasitic Colonel.... just another actor who,s script changes as and when it suits. About as geniune as the lochness monster.
Elvis.had.style..and.class..it.all.came.together.with.him.the.looks.the.voice...i.dont.care.what.anybody.else.says.knowbody.could.do.it.better.
his introduction just felt like any scouser trying to sell me some old crap on a market stall
Gracias maestro Paul, siempre la mejor música !
My favorite secular vocalist/musician.
